Author's bio
Prior to 1980
Quite a few years ago, like the story on the homepage, the author was sitting under a tree. An old tree. Some trees are called "learning trees" or "trees with knowledge." Well, that must have been where the author learned some pretty neat stuff. Stuff about life, ideas about living, and inspiration to write, compose sentences, and do research. What is research? Isn't research always about studying others? The author ("writer") feels that research can be done on oneself, every bit as much as on others.
1980 to 1985
To study oneself, to study others, and to take in all the information the world has to offer may be thought of as striving towards getting a good education. It isn't always easy to write; sometimes there are barriers both physical and mental. What about tiredness? What about lack of focus when sitting at a typewriter, trying to string some words together in a sentence? That is where enthusiasm, vigor, and joy come into focus. To be able to break through barriers and boundaries of research, of education and writing bring a renewed concentration on the various tasks that may be at hand. In 1980, a writer once said, "Trees have apples which may fall, they may be eaten, or they may be made into a pie." Well, in 2012, this author sat under such a tree. Education begins, continues, and will be never ending.
1985 to 2013
This blog, filled with a writing style which strives to educate, as well as elaborate, is being created and will hopefully be sustained by positive emotions, thoughts, and reflections. The author writing this is eager to see it blossom.
